Calendar Reminders

Will any 3rd party cal. programs buzz or beep when an alert is set and the phone is asleep or am I stock with the stock calendar?

Does the stock calendar not do this? Im sure when i have an appointment it beeps? Are yu just looking for a calendar alternative?

Yes the stock one beeps or vibrates whatever but I wanna know if I can get a 3rd party program such as Pocket Informant to do the same thing.
