i downloaded two super mario ringtones for my iphone from ring tone mania. they are not available in the settings ringtones menu and i feel this is because they are in the music library. how do i move them over to the ringtone library.
thanks in advance for any help

You can only buy "ringtones" through itunes. ringtone mania wont supply genuine itunes ringtones.

Find them in your playlist and take the check mark out so they will be removed from that section. My ringtones went to my library also. Check the summary tab and make sure "sync only checked songs and video" is selected. Click ringtones tab and select to sync all or selected ringtones, whichever you prefer. You should see the tones you purchased listed in that tab.

You said in your original post that you got them through ring tone mania or somewhere similar. Not iTunes.

i downloaded some ringtone mania tracks through itunes. i did not realize i then had to pay again for them to be converted to ringtones. i love apple products but what a joke you need to pay for things twice.
thanks for all your help
where is the tab to thank a fellow member for their contribution? i'm not entirely familiar with this particular forums layout/functions?

You have to have 25 post before you get the "Thanks" button. Kinda like the Boy Scouts, you have to earn it.:dft012:wink
