3.0 sounds change tone/pitch randomly

at random times, the sounds will sound strange, almost "like a tin can". the lock/unlock sounds are higher pitch and sound strange. Even other system sounds get the same wacky sound until I either reboot the phone, or play a song in the iPod app. anyone run into this yet?

Yeah I get that also. I have never rebooted it just goes awaw on it's own. It's kinda odd.

The lock sound changes for me when i have the keypad displayed on screen and lock the phone without going back to the springboard.

When you unlock the phone the sound is really muted.

It will do it when I get a email. Say I'm doing something on the phone like on a app or replying or sending a email the new message sound will go bong gong gong.
