So I plugged in my Sennheisers to my 3GS and....it sounds bad. Understandable since the headphone out was never meant to drive these things but I need options. I've been searching for a dock that uses the audio from the connector and has a built-in amplifier. A few things that I'm looking for:
1. Small or no speakers. I only intend to use this with headphones.
2. High quality amplifier.
A bonus would be that it had its own DACs and used the USB connection to get data from the iPhone, bypassing the analog hardware in the device altogether.
Anyone know a possible solution?
