I've tried a restore, reformat, restart...next is the genius bar, unless anyone has any ideas!

So some of this started pre-3.0 update, some of it (bluetooth) before the update.

I'll start with WiFi. From what I gather, this is a bit of a problem for a lot of users, but it's killing my battery at work, because I have to set my phone to "Push" when I'm at work, and it's constantly pushing from 3G...no fun.

My wifi seems to be extremely spotty. Before the update, my phone was always connected to my office's wifi network. Now it seems that the wifi is only connected when in use, and it doesn't pick up nearly as well. At the sake of sounding disgusting, I used to get wifi in the bathroom of my office, now it stays 3G (where for some odd reason, isn't available in the bathroom) at all times. It will connect to wifi every once and a while (it seems to be when a program needs it, like facebook), but it never just sticks connected on the wifi network. The same happens at home, which is a new network, and it does work well, but it's like I have to sit around and wait for the phone to connect, and can get very frustrating (as I use my phone as a remote for itunes when I'm home).

My bluetooth problem is a much bigger, and much more annoying one. I have a Jawbone 2, and the phone/headset always seemed to get along very well until one day, they just started freaking out on me.

I've paired the device, and it works well, very clear as should be. However, if I go to shut the device off (the Jawbone), it appears to still be connected to my iPhone. The bluetooth icon will stay lit up anywhere from 5-30 minutes, and if I receive a call in that timeframe, I have to constantly change sources, as the iPhone will try and force itself to the Jawbone.

Then if I go to turn on the Jawbone, it will turn on, but the iPhone won't recognize it for a good 20 minutes, usually in the middle of a call, which can be very irritating.

And when I receive calls, there is no notifaction through the Jawbone, if I hit answer on the iPhone, the call goes to the iPhone, and I have to manually switch the source.

Sorry for the long post, anyone have any suggestions?

I am thinking that with 3.0 in order to conserve battery life it will only use WIFI when there is a live connection (Safari or any app which uses the internet). I've noticed that when I enable WIFI the 3G icon will still remain lit whereas pre 3.0 it would always show the WIFI icon. However, if I send mail or do anything "online" the WIFI icon will reappear. Sometimes it takes a few seconds. Definitely is buggy and you're not the first person to mention this issue. As to the BT issue, if it (Jawbone) is still showing on your screen as connected, why not just turn off bluetooth on the iPhone?

if you have a legit iphone with the AT&T plan ,would suggest you replace it with Apple and explain the issue. they would replace it immediately...assuming you are still under warranty or under apple care protection plan

Not the case for me, when im connected via wifi (as long as the home screen is on) it shows im connected to my wifi, even if idle

I was trying to avoid getting a new phone, not that I have a problem with it or anything, I'm just on my 6th one and I feel bad haha.

I took it into the genius bar, the guy opened it up, and said the rep who replaced my screen basically screwed up some of the connections in the phone, and he wasn't going to be able to fix it. They gave me a new one.

It's weird, this phone is a lot heavier than my last 3G, and the bezel is thinner, and feels a little more square.
