iphone not receiving pic message notifications.. help?

I updated my carrier to 5.0, and since then i am not even receiving notifications when I get an MMS. Is there a way to downgrade? Thanks.

Edit; i restored and now at 4.0. still not receiving message notifications to the site.

As this is in the 3g section, im guessing you have the 3g? If you have asked AT&T to enable MMS on your account, you will not receive the text notification telling you have an MMS waiting and to go to thiss web addy etc. This is because your account thinks that the MMS can be pushed directly to your phone. It will be worth checking with AT&T to see how your contract lies.
