Winterboard and 3GS Issues

I just used purplerain and installed Cydia. But when I install winterboard the phone crashed. It loaded in safe mode and I have to un install it. Anyone else having this issue?

I also tried to install toneFX and got the same thing.

The only suggestion would be is to wait for Saurik to update Winterboard. Just about everyone who's j/b their 3GS is waiting for this too!!

Yep, there's a missing patch in purplera1n that's needed for Winterboard and some other apps to work. Also, don't get too excited if you see winterboard settings show up in Cydia. It puts WB into settings and elminates the need to open the app.

There should be a fix in Cydia now. I think it was causing other issues... with other apps too. If you load Mobile Substrate. You should be good then.

Looks like you are correct. Users at Modymyi have confirmed that Winterboard is working with the update to MobileSubstrate!

Hey guys, I just updated the Mobile Substrate and it seems that Winterboard is working.

Glad it's working for you. I tested it lastnight and it fixed a few issues I had including winterboard and iRealsms.
