Best bang for your buck is the UB5's from Ultimatebuds.com
35.00 and they sounds great! I have a review over on Macgirl.net's site for the original models and the new ones I think are even better. Review will be posted sometime this week.

I was a huge fan of the UB5s from Ultimatebuds however after having them replaced four times now I'm looking for a better alternative.

Their customer service is really first class. Each time something went wrong with them I would email them to notify them of the problem(s) and they'd send out a new pair without requesting me to send the old ones back for inspection.

Either I am harder on earphones than the average user or the components aren't of the highest quality. I do have a number of various sized eartips if anyone has need for them.

Wow, you must be kinda hard on them. My wife has my original set and I have the new version of the UB5's. Both work great, and are the best bang for the buck now a days.

Yeah, I guess so. I've got 4 sets of the eartips to prove it. I even did a review here a while back, before Chris created the Review Section, giving them thumbs up for the quality/price. I do use headphones exclusively all day long as I have the luxury of being able to listen to the iPod throughout my work days and I really don't like holding the iPhone up to my face to use the phone so maybe I am a bit hard on them.

I've been happy with my Ultimate Ears 200 vi. But it doesn't seem like they make them make them any more. Maybe the 170 vi?

The 220vi is what replaced the 200vi. Amazon had the 200vi's for $24.95 for almost a month. Now they've become unavailable. I picked up two of them. One when they were $29.95 and then when they came down to $24.95. These were truly a steal at those prices.

Yea, I got mine for $25. I didn't realize at the time how good a deal it was, or I would have gotten 2.

The 220vi looks really awesome. I may have to try them out. No doubt, you definitely stole the 200's at those prices.

Indeed they were. I noticed Amazon has them back in stock again for $99.99:029:eyeswideopen Might as well pick up the 220vi's instead.
