I feel for you. But it's worth the wait. I'm just happy to have SBSettings and intelliscreen working.

for the 3GS idk if it is possible but it is on the 3G you just have to go to here in SSH
system/library/coreservices/springboard.app
thats how i changed a lot of stuff on my 3G without using winterboard i changed the dock, sms bubbles which are located in another place, and my header battery and look screen battery
