We try to consolidate threads as much as possible on EiC, so a perusal through the larger thread may have given you the answers you needed. Just a thought.

whats perfect for me is not perfect for you or him or her.

haha macscac..i was simply asking on which case to get to avoid problems; such as the case blocking 3g or i dont know, whatever a case can screw up
I understand people like different cases but I was under the impression that there are certain cases to stay away from

The problem is, the case that may give you the BEST protection will be horribly ugly.
or you may not mind it at all.
its really worth the 10 minutes to look at the pics posted in that thread.
you have to still like your phone cosmetically in a case.
i went minimal. but thats just me

if you have an apple store or a cingular store, (apple preferred) just go there.
they'll let you try on the actual cases.
thats the FTW idea imo

My honest advice would be, no matter WHAT you get, don't go with the Incase Slider. A lot if them work fine, and are GREAT cases, but a few of them (including the one that I used to have) will scratch the back of your iPhone, including the Apple logo, and will actuall leave LINES on the side of it.

easy way to avoid this is first, shop in a apple or best buy store. second, remove it from the packaging and feel the rubber rails inside the case. if you feel a raised edge of hard plastic almost matching the height of the rail, don't buy it, or buy it and shave the edge off.
