I JB'D my 1G phone 2 years ago, but haven't messed with JB since. I recently got the 3Gs and it is now jb'n.

What apps or additions would you recommend?

please keep in mind that I am completely new at this. Is there a thread or website that helps "noobs" like me with this sort of thing?

SBSettings (with toggles of you choice), MxTube, Rock Your Phone (Elert, Tlert, IntelliScreen), Winterboard, and CyDelete.

I like FontSwap and vWallpaper (video ringtones) a lot, but they aren't ported to 3.0 yet.

I wouldn't try Winterboard yet. Saurik still has to tweak it to run on the 3GS.

Also, Backgrounder is a worthy application that enables multitasking by allowing apps to run in the background. That way, you can stream music, radio, or baseball games (for instance) while doing soemthing else.

Thanks for your reply....I got all of the above except Winterboard.

I can't seem to find Rock your Iphone. where do I locate that.

Anyone else have any awesome suggestions. 3rd party also.

It's located under System. it's called Rock App.

Yes it does. I would recommend Pandora Controls to run Pandora in the background. It also gives you ipod like controls in the lockscreen and when you double tap the home button.

Not sure if there is one that will stream video from any website. I know there are some that will stream video. As for tethering apps. There's PDAnet, Tether, iPhonemodem...
