Ringtone Problem

For some reason I cant get my phone to recognize a ringtone i put on it. I changed the file to aac and then the file tag to m4r. It shows up in the ringtones section of my phone in tunes but when i actually go into the phone itself, the file isnt there. Help please?

i also realized that i started having this problem when i got my laptop that uses vista.. signifigant?

Make sure the file is where it originally was edited..ie, desktop,folder.

you need to take the acc file and do delete, and then KEEP FILE, after that it should show up in your ringtones

So when it says move to recycle bin you click keep file?
