Have been experiencing contact sync issues where the iTunes contact sync would run for hours or never complete at all.
On my PC, ran disc cleanup, basically removed everything cached. Then ran ccleaner a few times. Reboot PC and iPhone. Sync'd again and it completed in under a minute.
