Ok, those of you who have already jailbroken your 3GS, let us know if and how much it's affecting the phone as far as battery life and lag.
Thanks!

i really don't see a lag at all..i also double checked to see if there is one or not.....my buddy had a 3gs and wasn't jail broken we started the phone at the same time both came to the lock screen on the same time as well....then started hero of Sparta...loaded the same time as well...there literally is no noticeable lag...i have 16 gbs of music put on so my ipod is a bit slow but nothing bad or noticable just chokes when i scroll thru the songs i have...
as for the battery life...i really don't know if it's affected since the battery life isn't all that great for the 3gs

There has been no lag i've seen so far. It amazes me how fast Cydia loads.

That could possibly change if there is a fix for Winterboard. As many claim it to be one of the culprits of lag.

No lag here. I'm keeing an eye on memory and it's never dipped below 110mb even with heavy use. On my v1 I was constantly below 20mb which made a lot of apps very slow or inoperable.

what's normal for the regular 3g? Mine is sitting at 46 on the home screen :(

46 MB is very good for the 3G. Use iStat to free up as much as you can (Free Memory only clears up to 20), but I don't think you'll get any higher than 50.

still working great. I rejailbroke today using the latest goods and works great.
battery so far is good 17 minutes of use and 2 hours and 33 minutes standy still at 98%.
Ill report the battery when this cycle drains down should be around the same i would guess though. Everything is working good though love it.

Anyone else getting ridiculously slow network speeds? When I'm on 3G and do a speed test I'll get like 250kb/s. If I shut off 3G then turn it back on, do the test again and I'll get around 2mb/s. Downloading apps takes much much longer than it should be it 3G, hell even my Wi-Fi is slow. No, it isn't my network I did a speed test on my PC (also wireless) and I get my normal 15+ mb/s.

Unless it was installed without me knowing, I have no reason to use ultrasnow.
It seems hit or miss, now everything is working fine.

Just dont restore it and everything should stay fine. Syncing etc wont change anything but if you restore it then you have to rejailbreak etc.
