View Full Version : No luck with TMobile SIM after unlock

Jailbreak with redsn0w 0.7.2 was successful. Unlock with ultrasn0w appeared to be successful, but no connection with TMobile SIM. The SIM belongs to a Sidekick. Any ideas?

What iPhone do you have? (V1 or 3G) I'm assuming 3G, since you used ultrasn0w.

If it's a 3G try turning of 3G in (settings - general - network) if you haven't tried that already.

Did turn 3G off and then reboot after putting the SIM in?

Yep, turned off 3g then turned off/turned on IPhone. Nothing displays in upper left of screen.

Stupid me -- After watching a you tube video I realize I never installed ultrasn0w after downloading. Phone/texting is working fine. Have to test the data.
