jail breaking questions

well im new to this forum and i heard stuff about jail breaking i was just wondering

1.What is it.

2. Will it take memory if so how much.

3. Will i still have the app store. (the one it came with)

4. I have version 3.0 itouch if i jail break will i still have the 3.0 stuff like copy and paste or search thing.

5. Is there a way every thing could go wrong and break my itouch

also i think i have the 1st gen

1. Judging from your other posts, I think you've already figured this out.
2. Yes, everything does. It depends on what you are doing on the phone, what apps you're running, etc.
3. Yes. You will still have them and you can still download/install more.
4. Yes. It doesn't take features away, it adds to them.
5. Yes, something could go wrong, but you can just restore the iPod to factory settings if it does.
