if you havent downloaded this game you really need to...i mean i may watch baseball occasionally but by no stretch am i and avid baseball player and i am hooked...it is pretty much seamless when it comes to playing online aslong as you have 3g...the game keeps you playing with the money (gold balls) earning sytsem and all the different types of gear you can buy to make your character better and cooler looking lol...def. worth the money....graphics are perect for this type of gameplay too...even got a video in the top corner so you are watching how the player online you are competing with is doing...i guarantee anybody this game is AWESOME..i am done now :smile:

ok so this game has soared its way to #1 in my iphone in less than a day. This game is worth 10 bucks.....really!!! Gameplay is nice, graphics are awesome and its sooooo much fun. Truly one of those apps that come by every once in a while that everyone will get and talk about, sports fans that is. :)

I'm very impressed with game... It has a lot of depth and it's not as easy as I thought it would be. I'll be checking out some of their other games now.

yes, it is only homerun derby. Arcade, classic and matchup mode

I saw this on the app store a few days ago and wasn't sure about spending 2.99 on it, but man am I glad I did. I played baseball for 9 years and baseball games usually get really boring after a while (mlb 2k9) but this one is so much fun, I love the competing aspect of it along with trying to make your character better.

To anyone who has any doubts about this game, you definitely shouldn't! I picked this game up a few weeks ago, and absolutely can't believe how much time I've invested in this game! It is crazy addicting because of the great flawless online matchup mode! Definitetly he best game I've ever had!!

BUY IT!!!!

Entirely too addicting!

My biggest complaints about the game:

1. No pause.

2. It doesn't resume if you exit the game. This combined with #1 can be annoying if you try to sneak in a quick round at work and get on a crazy good streak that you don't want to stop. But have to. :(

3. With each pitch, the "center point" of your target area is recalibrated based on where you're holding the phone. This can very quickly and easily lead to "target creep" if you're unaware of it. It should have a standard calibration point.

I like the challenge of the game. Graphics get a little repetitive...I don't need to see every ball hit the outfield...just zoom out from the batter.

Also, I can't figure out a way to change my player's name and stuff...

i read somewhere that you can call your shots. Like babe ruth style pointing to the outfield. has anyone done this? if so, how do you do it?

That happens when you get 'cycling' - which is you hit a home run in left, center, and right field. After this it will prompt you to 'hit to the right', which is when your character will point.

yeah, i did see that and wondered if that was all it was. i thought you could make it do it yourself. i obviously misread, thank ya
