Tethering Via Bluetooth On Locked iPhone 3.0 Software

thanks to a mutual friend on facebook christopher miller...i am able to tether my iphone with my macbook via bluetooth...and did i mention that my iphone 3G is "locked"...the first thing i did was click on this link and follow the steps..and the rest is self explanatory: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/06/28/activate-and-enable-iphone-as-internet-tethering-wireless-modem-without-hack-or-jailbreak/

That was discussed in great length here (http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/iphone-software/how-to-enable-tethering-in-iphone-os-3-0-a-49026.html). I just hope ATT doesn't disable this in some way. They probably will, so I will just enjoy it while it last.

but the instructions i posted differ from the previous post by chris...and yes, i certainly hope that ATT doesn't disable it...it aint like they're hurtin' for money...dang! give us somethin!

Later in the thread, the method you posted is discussed. It is the one I used and works like a charm. And I do agree, "dang! give us somethin!":laugh2:
