View Full Version : cant access cydia for ultrasn0w after JB :(

Hi all, new here, I've JB'd and unlocked a few with the 2.2 OS and it was cake. I upgraded my 3G to the 3.0 and jailbroke it, but now I cant get a wifi connection to acess CYDIA to unlock it using ultrasn0w. I need a connection to get it. I tried using another persons sim who has ATT iphone but that didnt wrk either. Anybody know how i can connect to internet to get ultrasn0w so i can unlock it now???.....thanks

I just had this same problem lastnight.

I restored 3.0, & re-jailbroke. Now all is good.

Wifi don't wrk at all . And wen I put a AT&T sim in that's active it won't wrk either. I'll try rejailbreakn it like krypto. Let's see what happens then....

restored and re-jailbroke, nada, my wifi shows up conneccted to my puter but there is a little LOCK picture there, but the wifi bares are showing full strength by the carrier name...no clue,,,,,,

Is there a check beside your network? If none, then you're not really connected to it. Tap on the name of your network. It should prompt you for your network password. Enter the password and click "Join". If you don't get the password prompt, click on "Forget This Network" and try again.

Yep there is a check , plus that lil pic of the lock . Took it to an Internet cafe with free wifi. There was no lock , check was there, cydia still wouldn't load neither would safari. Actually did 2 3g's and took them, neither wrkd. Restoed both again and re-JB'd em both,,, no cydia or safari . Gevy2 turbo sim comes out for 3.0 July 5th. That will fool the phone and unlock it, maybe then I can install from cydia and do the soft unlock. How come nobody else having this problem? ..... Is there certain settings in wifi that need adjusting? ...... Thanks for trying to help u guys , any more sugestions would be greatly appretiated :-)
