Let me preface this post by saying that yes, I did do a search first for this topic and all previous threads were either very old (pertaining to outdated hardware/software) or did not address my particular situation. Hence, the new thread.
I am on a 16 gig 3GS iphone running OS 3.0 and I am not interested in jailbreaking my phone. I would like to find an application that allows you to assign a password to individual applications on your phone to to keep nosy people out of private information like text messages, photos, videos, etc. Are there any equivalents to things like "Lockdown", which is available through Cydia, in the regular App Store? I know about Photo Vault and such apps like that that protect pictures, but something more versatile would be nice.
No, I don't have anything in particular to hide, but I want to send the hint out to nosy friends playing with my phone that it's not OK to go browsing through my messages, emails and pictures without asking!! :angry: Can anyone offer some useful suggestions?? Thanks in advance!
