Difference between Rwange Tool and Redsn0w?

What is the difference (technically) between Pwange Tool and Redsn0w. I understand they both Jailbreak - one using a custom .ipsw and the other without a restore and is quicker. Do they both have the same result or does one of them have better results (speed, reliability etc) I have searched this forum and Google and have not found any info regarding this. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Redsn0w provides similar functionallity as QuickPWN. It includes an unlock and is a quick process that doesn't require a restore.

PWNage Tool has the most versatility, but it requires a complete restore. It allows you to make a custom .ipsw which allows things like making your root partition larger. It takes longer to jailbreak with PWNage Tool than it does with QuickPWN, but QuickPWN for 3.0 has not yet been released. After using PWNage Tool, you can install ultrasn0w in Cydia and unlock.
