I am trying to use this for the first time. While the screen is loading it quits before completion. Any ideas?

There is no loading screen for the stock 3GS video recorder. Must be a jailbroken one.

True.
The same thing happens (crash upon opening) with many of the other JB apps that haven't been ported to 3.0 yet (like vWallpaper).
I have heard the iPhone video recorder is incompatible with 3.0 right now.
Download Cycorder instead, it's working on 3.0.

Cycorder, if I remember correctly, was a better video recording app.

I am new to jailbreaking and all that it can do. Is there a way to transfer the cycorder videos?

Yes there is. SSH into your phone. The videos are located here.

Just use MiVTones. It's been 3.0 compatible since launch of 3.0...

Weird. It says it requires 2x FW and doesn't even attempt to install.
Are you using it on 3.0?
