I was just wondering if an official iPhone 3GS bluetooth headset been released yet. AFAIK, they pulled last years model off the shelves about a month ago. I was just on the Apple Online store website and all I see is the Plantronics Voyager 925.

1. Does anyone know if they have plans to release an official Apple bluetooth headset and if so, do you have any info on when it will be released?

2. Can anyone recommend a bluetooth car speaker phone or headset that has a changeable pairing code (apparently most have a default code that is not changeable and makes it vulnerable to attacks)?

Well, I was looking at the new Jawbone PRIME, it looks pretty sweet, but I couldn't tell from the website if the passkey was changeable. I called Jawbone customer service to find out and they said it's not changeable and none of their other bluetooth products have changeable passkeys either. They also stood by that it is completely safe.

Anyone know of one that has a changeable passkey. Been Googling it a little bit today and not finding much. I don't care if it's a headset or speaker phone, I just want something to use in my car that has a changeable passkey.

I guess I'll resort to getting a new stereo deck if I have to, but I don't really want to do that because I just got a new one with a USB input three months ago.

I have the original Apple BT headset. They could have done better, but it's not horrible. It would have been much better if they had used an isolation design. it gets hard to hear with loud road noise or a large crowd.

I don't know. It came with a dock and travel charger that auto paired the headset to the phone.
