Very excited for the 3GS JB indeed!

Do you think some of the Devs are waiting to port their JB apps onto 3.0 until the 3GS is unlocked?
Was there this much JB app incompatibly last year at this time when 2.0 was released.

Yeah, I remember I stayed on a 1.1.4 JB forever because of the delay in 2.0-compatible apps. I hope it goes quicker this time, because I'm ready to to JB as soon as it's available for the 3GS.

Whoa! I didn't think you were going to jailbreak. What made you change your mind? Are you just planning on testing it to make sure the lag isn't too bad and then stick with it if it isn't?

I've had my 3.0 3G JailBroken since this past Monday. So far everything is running smoothly. There is a few things that aren't working from Cydia yet, biggest one for me being BACKGROUNDER! I have Pandora running all day at work and it's just annoying when I get a text and have to shut off the music!

I may be going to pick up a 3GS if I can find one tomorrow(Friday). Hopefully a JB for it comes out... Tomorrow? :laugh2:

Yes there were lots of apps that didn't get ported over right away last year.

Yeah, I have a hunch that the 3GS won't really blink much at a jailbreak with its added amenities. And, whaddya know, I suddenly could really use a handy 3G toggle! :laugh2:

ADDam, backgrounder was just updated in Cydia. It's working again!! :D

It still doesn't work with Pandora because all the options are disabled/not working. Only "basic" backgrounding is working...You still cannot customize which applications use backgrounder.

Well crap! :( There's always Pandora Controls too. That works in the background if I recall.


I can't wait for a jailbreak for the 3GS!!!:frown:

I like it, the compass is pretty neat. Also very impressed by the overall speed. Still cant wait to JB it.

I still haven't played with the compass. Yea, i'm like a crackhead waiting for the jailbreak to come out :D

Me too! Even though I dont even have my 3g S yet haha. It's sitting on my counter at home, it came 2 days ago and I had my neighbor go put it in my house since I've been out of town. It's killing me, I won't be home till Sunday night!
