Alot of people are selling and buying used iPhones now. Make a sell, or score a good deal on a phone?

Where did you sell or buy?
How much?
What version of phone?
Was the software original or unlocked?

I am interested in seeing what versions are selling for what, and if the software has to be unlocked to pull a good chunk of change.

Sold on Craigslist
Sold for $350 - Could have got more but wife was nagging me to sell it
It was a 3G 16GB Black
Software was not unlocked

I bought a 32GB 3GS for $299. My goal was to offset the cost of that purchase. Mission accomplished.

We maybe slow in the south and sell our iPhone's for less on craigslist, but dang it, we take our football seriously. :2cool:

Haha, I had to figure somehow there would be a Hail Redskins in this thread after a Dallas comment. Hail to the Redskins but kick Dan Snyder and Vinny Cerrato the hell out of the organization so we can be a good football team again.

i originally wanted to keep my V1 for nostalgia, but my good friend broke his old phone, and is now out of a job. So i gave it to him. at least now i can tell him to google sh*t instead of having to do it myself all the time.

I just put my 3G up on ebay, JB and unlocked it on 3.0 before listing it, we'll see what I get.

I need to find someone locally who uses another carrier and has a sim card so I can make sure that my 3G is unlocked. :smile:

I sold my 8gig Black 3G on Ebay for $350. It was unlocked though. At the time when I was selling, highest for an unlocked 8GB was only going for 400. So I was happy with the price I received. It paid for my new 32GB 3GS with no money out of pocket. Very nice!
