So who went to see Transformers 2 last night in a midnight showing? I did! It was great. Who plans on seeing it this weekend? I plan on seeing it again in IMAX that'll be an amazing experience. The theater was packed. It was showing on 5 screens and all the rooms were to capacity. Michael Bay knows action, Megan and Shia are hot! Can I tell you guys what happened?!?! Just kidding!

I think Megan Fox is beautiful but her new duck lips aren't the best look. Loved the movie anyway

I have to agree in that. Her implants don't really do justice either (too small). But I wouldn't say no. Saw her the other day here on the lot. She was mighty fine. She is Michael Bay's golden girl right now.

^^So do you have a scoop, will there be another movie? I just saw Transformers 2 and I'm ready for 3! We waited until after the credits hoping for a clue of another sequel but nothing. Tear.
ravman

They totally left the second open for a third sequel. You recall where Star Scream tells Cybertron, that sometimes it's best to be a coward and to just get the heck out of there (when Optimus Prime killed the last Prime)?
But I don't think Paramount will be involved with the next one. Their deal with Dreamworks comes to an end soon. Plus Michael Bay is not too impressed with how Paramount has promoted the new movie. Universal Studios will probably be the next distributor for Transformers 3.
I'm looking forward to Shrek 4 & 5. Not sure about Beverly Hills Cop 4 though. G. I Joe looks okay also. Not 100% sure on that one?
Watch out for Iron Man 2 next year.
Admit it... did you cry when Optimus Prime died?

I nearly did, i was gutted. Optimus is as hard as a coffin nail. He came back- took no sh*t and kicked seven shades of sh*t out the other guys! Good enough for me.
Gee, it hasn't even been out 24 hours and you're giving away key points of the film.

You guys in the UK were so lucky to see the movie last week. It officially comes out in the US today. They are showing it on the lot all this week. I think I'm going to have go see it again and again and again. Then buy it on blu ray when it comes out before xmas.
What about that decepticon hot babe that tried to seduce Sam.... where do I get me one of those? But how the heck did she not sense Bumble Bee when she got in the car?

I've got mines on order..... I would tell you where, but i'm not going to. I
'll have to house train her first. I'll post photo's on delivery.

Did anyone else's theater have the new Camaro outside the theater? Ours did publicity thing between our local dealer and the theater. It worked I guess, my husband told me he wanted one at least 10 times before the movie. My reply, "Ok Jon (Gosselin), with your 2 seater and your 8 kids!" We don't have 8 kids, just one but you get the point.

Like Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear) said... American cars have shock absorbers full of treacle. Take them around a corner and they fall apart.

Ours did as well. We had the head consultant and head designer of the Camaro come out and draw sketches for people and take pictures. They had 6 new Camaros out for test drives for anyone above 21. The SS is fast. The best part was that they gave us free pre-screening tickets that were for Tuesday (23rd) at 7:30 PM so we got to see the movie a bit early.

I am going to watch Transformers 2 today or tomorrow. I read reviews about it and a lot of people say it's great. A 7.1 rating on IMDb is great, a lot of people there just criticize every movie and rate it low~ so that's a good rate.

I have a question for you people in here who are upset about the spoiler. What did you expect the topic of conversation was in a thread labeled "Transformers 2"? Star Wars? Benny Hill? Fraggle rock? If you are planning on watching a movie and you don't want to be "spoiled" I would suggest avoiding threads where they discuss the movie you are planning on watching until after you have watched it.

I was just reading through the posts and I read the spoiler's post, by accident. I was expecting recommendations on whether or not the people who watched the movie liked it; spoiling it to people who haven't even watched it yet sucks.

So I got ripped off! I tried to order IMAX tickets for Saturday (yesterday) but the processing payment screen was up for almost 5 minutes. So I just closed the screen thinking it wasn't going to go through. For 2 days the $26 said "pending" on my bank account. Then finally day of the movie it showed it posted the money. I never got a confirmation email or receipt. The theater is an hour away. I need a refund! I did get an email at 330 around the time my showing would have ended saying "Did you enjoy the movie?" ugh

It did run long but Michael Bay is a proud director and I'm sure he didn't want to trim too much from his action packed pride and joy.

Okay there is only one movie i have enjoyed some what by him and its The Island. But he seriously has no storytelling skills the movies are nothing but action with horribly edited shots that are way too close up.
Im a movie buff so i guess i dont necessarily enjoy the brainless special effects movies.
Star Trek absolutely killed this movie yet it didnt get as much hype. Thats what i hate.

I think Transformers, like the Marvel series is iconic and can almost do no wrong just because of it's long history (just my opinion). I enjoyed both Transformers and all the Marvel movies (except the first attempt at the Hulk) and although I wasn't a HUGE watcher of the cartoon I'm looking forward to G.I. Joe. Who's with me?

I dunno, i think this is going to be the summers biggest flop...next to Land of the Lost. With the rumors flying around. It's not giving the movie much hype.

Transformers 2 takes all the best features from the first movie and makes them bigger and better... but it also does the same for all the inferior things about the first movie. Outstanding action. Phenomenal effects. More Transformers in both numbers and time on screen.... but HORRIBLE dialog, The Twins and a terrible misuse of a lot of the characters puts my enjoyment level of this movie far below my enjoyment of the first one. It is everything a big summer blockbuster should be... and everything it shouldn't be.
The point which caught my fancy was Megan Fox. She was real hot!!!!!!!!

I'm known to be a harsh critic and I thought this film wasn't really good. The special effects did not make up for the predictable plot :(
