Go online to Cingular.com and look at iPhone plans... or just look at your plan online. The 450 minute plan used to be $59.99 (still is according to Apple.com) but Cingular seemed to lower the rates by $20. Mine shows $39.99 for the 450 minute plan plus $20 for unlimited texts... GOOD MOVE CINGULAR!! :laugh2:

My goodness, you're right. Mine used to be $79.99 and now it's $59.99. So why is my bill still $153? Shouldn't they change that to $133??

That's not right. You must be looking at something wrong. The cheapest iPhone plan is $59.99 which includes 450 minutes, 5000 nights & weekends, unlimited data, 200 txt messages, etc.

It hasn't changed, it's just the way it shows your charges. The $20 is towards the bottom.

Go look online at Cingular rates... and then check your rate online at your account.

the rates have not changed at all, sometimes they advertise 59.95 as phone and data and sometimes they advertise phone and data seperately... The prices are exactly the same

That's just the voice part of the plan. The iPhone plans aren't anything special. It's just a voice plan with a data plan connected together.

iPhone data with 200 txt - $20
iPhone data with 1500 txt - $30
iPhone data with unlimited txt - $40

39.99+20= 59.99 right? Doesn't the 59$ Plan Include data?

ya thats right. 39.99 for the voice plus $20 for the unlimited data (200 sms). i think he was confused by the part where he saw only the voice prices or something.

Rates will never go Down. I wish it did. The current rates are ok better than I thought it would be. I think the minutes are like weird... Well at least the first two iphone plans. Why 450 and not 500 or 1000 instead of 900. That's dumb in my opinion. Give the 50 and 100 minutes to us... Bastards at at&t

When did it change to cingular, I am still using Cellular One - I am hoping to get one of those fancy phones without the cord attached to the bag in my car someday soon

It was explained to me that the Data is listed as $20 even though I bought the total plan for $59. I got to 450 minutes for $39 + $20(data) = $59.

a discount would be great, especially since my moms company discount is gone because apple wont allow for it:mad:

Those are the correct rates; you just have to add the $20, $30, or $40 for the iphone data + text package.
