View Full Version : Check your AT&T Bill
Just a heads up about my experience today. As I reviewed my bill online, I noticed it was really high. So, I went in and investigated, and they have charged me 2x on my data. My regular $20.00 (v1) unlimited data and over $75.00 in extra data fees. As I inquire further, I was told that the reason why I was being charged extra for data, is because when I purchased my new 3gs online, I terminated my "original unlimited data" and from then on, was being charged per kb on every data access I made following my online order. That meant being charged extra data from the time I purchased 3gs online up to when I finally got the new iphone activated (which was last Sunday). I was able to get the charges reversed, they said wait for 24 hrs. to see the credit to my account. So, please check your bills guys.
Unbelievable. Wonder how much of this crap they're getting away with from the people who don't pay that much attention...

My friend was charged for voice dialing and something for navigation in addition to the $30 data plan, $15 for texts and the $18 upgrade charge. He called and it was immediately taken off. SKETCHY AT&T!!!!!

Yes, careful. A few months ago I upgraded my dads line, and a month later I got the bill. It was fine, but the next month I looked and the store took the luxury of adding a "free" 30 day trial of nav and voice dialing. By the time I called she said that IIIII!!!! added it, not the store, and that I HAD to pay for the month I "HAD" the features. Wow, what a bunch of crap. The two features where never discussed in the store when we purchased the phone, and never used. I am sure that they are getting millions of dollars from people who dont look at their bills. Everyone take note, look at your bill!

Wildonrio was giving you an example of what his discount covers. Why don't you call AT&T and ask them what your discount applies to?

My company gives discounts on voice and data, not text or any special features. Every company is different.

Did you buy your phone online at apple.com or ATT?
