Hello Folks,

I did some searching here, but was unable to find solutions for my specific issues.

- I've preformed approximately 5 syncs/backups since I upgraded to 3.0 but the last few backups have been extremely loooong. My last backup on Friday took over 3 hours and I am currently backing up now and after 30 minutes, the status bar on itunes is only at about the 15% completion point. I only sync podcasts, contacts, and my calendar.

- Secondly, I have a recording app called SpeakEasy and any speakeasy recordings should copy to Itunes when a backup is completed. This has not been happening with the past several backups. This issue actually surfaced a few days before the upgrade to 3.0. I will also seek help from the app site but I wanted to include it here in case someone here knows possible causes.

Additional info:
- Everytime I open Itunes now, I'm asked to approve the user agreement.
- Everytime Itunes opens, I get these two messeges:
"iTunes cannot sync information with the iPhone because syncing has been disabled on this computer. Do you want to enable syncing? If you do not enable syncing, iTunes will not be able to sync contacts, calendars, bookmarks or mail accounts to your iPhone."

After I click yes to enable syncing, I then get this message, "itunes was unable to load provider data from sync services"

I click "Ok" for this message and then Itunes allows me to sync/backup, but the backup is running way too long as I mention above.

Sorry for so many issues in one post, but any direction on any of the issues is appreciated.

Not sure which OS you are using. Obtained from Apple support forum..fixes for this issue:

Mac
Close Itunes. Repair permissions go to Applications->Disk Utility. Select Macintosh HD in the left section of the window and then press the "Repair Permissions" button on the right. Restart computer.

Vista
In iTunes8>Edit>Preferences, Click on "Reset Synch History", OK.

Another suggestion ......Start the task manager and kill the process SyncServer.exe
