At at the Cor Store or a auth reseller. I'm guessing I would have to preorder and pick it up in a few weeks? 2 weeks? Maybe less?

It depends on where you're located. Both Apple stores near me have plenty of phones in stock. I would call first to make sure of course.

SoCal. What does the ratio of White and Black phones? I'm going for the white and if non in stock, i'll preorder.

My Apples both had equal quantities of all 4 phone choices (16 vs 32 and black vs white) so it's really hard to say but I imagine they should be able to get you what you want. It seems as if most people are split on white or black.

Yeah I hope wherever I go has white in stock. I want the 16GB, I doubt i'm going to be heavily getting apps and games but for a select few. On average how big are they?

Don't even worry about Apps, for the most part they're tiny. I can't even imagine how many you would have to DL in order to bring your phone near capacity.

Movies, music, tv shows, those are the space eaters.


I had an 8 gig for almost 2 years and never ran out of space even with 1300 songs, 10 podcasts, 15 or so Apps, 4 tv shows, and a bunch of pics.

Just to give you an idea.

Can I add a line at the Apple store if I go there? Transferring 3 lines to AT&T tomorrow at Costco to get Free Activation and their current Phone promo.

They're all sold out around here. But SoCal is pretty big so maybe you'll find something in your area.

They're all sold out in Southern Illinois too. I called 3 AT&T stores and Best Buy. At this point "pre-ordering" is my only option.

Yes, I've decided to take the plunge and upgrade from a v1!
Definitely getting a 32GB.
