and my mom has a samsung with a 3g sim card and my freind wants to sell her the v1 will it work? iam pretty sure it will even though the v1 is edge

I sold my V1 for $280 when I bought my new 3Gs but it really depends on the condition of the phone and the accessories that come with it.

And yes 3G sims do work in the V1.
