So i bought the v1 iphone for 400 dollars
I sold it on craigslist locally for 450 dollars 1week before the 3g came out
I bought the 3g for 299
Now im going to sell it for 400
and use that money to cover the 3gS
This is an awesome cycle ..
theoretically I can upgrade my iphone every year for free and even make some cash along the way ..until the end of time!!!

same here bought the iphone and sold it to someone for $250 that same person wants to buy my 3g for $250 once I confirm at&t is going to allow me to upgrade im getting the new one. Maybe I should just ebay it and make $400 like you!!!

My wife just threw my iphone 3g in a fit of rage and broke it
this is the second one, the first was my iphone v1
with that one the screen cracked, this one had the incase cover so luckily
the screen is still in good condition
I now have the white screen of death and im gonna try and get it replaced under warranty
I love this crazy woman!!/iphone killer
p.s. Anyone want to take bets on how long before she breaks my 3gs?
Im going to get it replaced it is still under warranty .. I will call apple tell them i was texting next thing i know the screen went white, And please lets not start a moral debate because i have none

I agree and I wish more people would think like this.

But instead there are way too many people that would rather complain about the new iPhone not being worth upgrading to when they haven't even tried it.

I figure you can get it subsidized (at least) every other year ($299 one year and $499 the next). If you can sell them all for approx $400, you break even. You make $100 one year and lose $100 the next year.

Oh lawl. I'm doing the same thing for 3GS, except that I can basically get it for free by using my otherwise wasted (No other reason to use them for.) rewards points from my carrier, so I'll just be getting about 400 + a 3GS.
