Is there anyway i can tell if my screen is glossy or matte

Please help, i am trying to remember which type of screen i have either glossy or matte, i have a 17 inch macbook, but i can not remember which one

there has to be a way for me to figure this out no?

look at the screen. if that doesn't do it, look up the model number.

This is kind of like asking whether your car is red or black.

Glossy means shiny(reflective and Matte means NOT shiny. Is your screen shiny or not?
