Making customized rings for texts

I remember seeing in the wwdc keynote address something about customizing ringtones for text messages. I've looked everywhere and haven't been able to find anything out about it. Does anybody have any info on this?

I don't remember hearing anything like that from WWDC. The only way this can be done is to jailbreak the phone.
