$200 back.

So I am trying to find out from att why my account does not qualify for the $200 back... I have a bill over $100 a month every month. I bought my Last iphone 3g the day they were released. I was never late on a payment and I did get the early upgrade pricing.

SO what I am being told if you bought the phone the day it was released you wont get the $200 you had to of bought it in july august or sepember

It needs to be over $99 (without taxes) on the primary line. Plus, if you bought on launch day last year, that was in July. It's only June now so that's 11 months.

just was on the phone with some ***** on att.. excuse my language, but mine is over $99 too, (108.41) with taxes, and im not eligible, pretty stupid if you ask me, but she said that i need to go into the AT&T store tomorrow and they're the only ones who can change it for me.

The total has to be 99 before taxes. At&t has to be getting that 99 bucks, not uncle sam.

Family texting 30 bucks
My line is billed 120 bucks qualifies for 12 month upgrade

So take no S*** I finally got the right person on the phone and had to explain what there own company was offering as noone at that company has any idea what they are doing; They obviously apologized and said i would get my money within 3 business days. I even had the guy email me confirmation.

I bought the 3G the first day it was available. Unfortunately, ATT has my wifes phone listed as the primary, and that line is 100 per month. My line is about 50 per month. I called ATT to switch the primary, and they said it still would allow me to get the subsidized price. My wife has a V1, so she is eligible. I may just buy the 3gs, and give her my 3G. Those ****suckers are going to give me a subsidized phone!!

Im really glad ive got a friend that works at att we have 2 iPhones line 1 my wifes is over 99 a month mine is 2nd line and is not . Hers qualified for the 199 upgrade but according to the website mine did not.

I went thursday to ask him about my eligibility and he told me it was no problem we both qualified for the best price. he had just gotten the email confirming it. When we went Fri to buy them he told me about 5 min after i left att sent them a new email and had again changed eligibility and actually mine would not qualify but he told me that he could override it and it wasnt a problem.

I know i got lucky but im damn happy i did especially since i broke my 3g screen on Weds. :( I asked my wife if i could use her upgrade............Her exact words were ..... laughter followed by ........haha go to hell :)

good for you!! I am waiting now to call APPLE on monday to hopfully get my $200 that att said i should be getting
