clearing out data on old phone

ok, like most people im getting the new 3gs, and i have sold my v1 on ebay. i know i can take off my music and apps in itunes, but what any other "data" that i have put on my phone ? do i set it up as a new phone b4 i put it in the box to ship it ?? or what can i do ?

I would restore as a new phone.

Under the reset menu, you can erase all contents and settings. That should do it.

And don't forget to remove your SIM card!

thanks, i found that reset stuff in the options, i think ill do that and maybe a restore. and take my sim
