ive got a dlo jam jacket, pretty cool its a rubber case and has a place to hold your headphones on the back of it. but like all cases it adds bulk and decreases the sexiness of it

Just returned my Belkin clear case today for a full refund from AT&T. It let dirt in and was kind of flimsy. I will try to find an InCase or something similar.
Going naked until then. My Wrangler cargo shorts have an extra pocket, that is just big enough for the iPhone.

DLO horizontal leather case with belt clip.
Keeps everything safe, and to hand.

I just bought this one from the Apple store today.

So far it's ok. It holds the iPhone pretty securely, but it's hard to get out for answering calls. If you grip it tightly to pull it out, you mash the volume button(s). It doesn't do anything when the phone is locked, but I don't like applying that much pressure to them.
While it's in the holster you can access all the buttons but the camera lense is covered.

My pocket. No case for me. I think it ruins the lines of the phone.

I just bought the incase rubber skin from Apple store and I love it. It feels good in my palm and it has a pretty good friction on the back. I normally place it on my dashboard when I'm driving and it can hold it's position pretty well. For screen protection, I've just ordered the power support crystal film and still waiting for it to arrive. My Apple stores in the entire state of Arizona is sold out of that.

So far so good. It has been holding well on my dashboard. Maybe it's because my driving is smooth?

Until you get a big ugly sracth or two, then you might change your mind... But then it willl be too late as the damage will already be done. ;)

My Incase should be at home today. I'm usually a nekkid phone user, but I'm so afraid of dropping the iPhone that I need something. We'll see, I may switch to a holster case for my pocket since I'm also a dock junkie.

I still haven't seen a case I like on the market. The InCase is probably the closest I've found, but I haven't had any luck finding a black one, and IMO, the red and grey ones look cheesy.
The phone has only been out for what, a couple weeks? I'm sure something will come along sooner or later that I'll be happy with. I'm not in a huge rush. I'm just being careful with my iPhone for now.

Had the Belkin case until I too noticed the scratches. Running no case at the moment until I see something that has a slim profile and a clip. I just get so scared because people are still coming up to me asking to see it and I HATE handing an unprotected phone to people. Especially when they do that "fake almost drop" crap. I just give them the get the hell out of here look.

What Belkin case were you using that scratched it?

I am using the Belkin iPhone holster case http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=9D148FF&nplm=TN608LL/A.
I don't use a case when it's in my pocket but I do use the holster case when I have the phone out laying around like in the car. This case is nice for that purpose.
Has anyone else used this case?

My case thoughts:
I have the belkin case(not the acrylic one, the belt clip/slip in case) and I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's nice that it has the belt clip, and it holds the phone securely, but it's very hard to get out and I can't imagine trying to answer a call while it's in the case. They would definitely be to voicemail before I could safely remove it.
I also have the jamjacket, which I like because it offers *SOME* drop protection and has a place in the back for the headphones, however it doesn't protect the screen or have a belt clip(unfortunately not all pants have pockets!).
I'm thinking I may return both cases, buy the crystal cover from apple, apply that for screen protection, and then find some sort of skin that HAS a beltclip on it, that is slim enough to put IN a pocket if I don't want to rock the belt clip. Pretty sure I saw one like that on the apple website but I'll have to check again.

I have the iskin evo3 for my 30gb video and it is by far the best case out there! It'll probably destory all the other cases when it comes out for the iphone, too!

I HAD the black InCase rubber-like case. I only ever carried it around in my front right pocket and lint and dust got between the case and the phone (around the edge) and caused marring on the chrome ring around the screen. I returned the case for a refund last night, went to CVS and got a needle and black thread. Using the black cloth that comes with the iPhone (love the lettering) and the blue mini-cloth that comes with iKlear cleaner I made one!
