How to unsubscribe for email notifications? Help

Is there a way to stop getting email notifications of threads I have posted in?
I know about the unsubscribe feature under Subscribed Threads, delete subscription and no email notifications. However, I still get emails from new threads I post in. Is there a global setting I'm overlooking? Is there a way in My Settings to permanently make no more email notifications? Thanks.

My Settings->settings & options->

then under "Default Thread Subscription Mode" select no email notification.

it will still send you emails for threads you have already posted in, but from there on out, you'll be good.
