Help with my lost music on iTunes....

After getting a virus, I've lost all my music and want to know if there is way to take the music that is on my iPhone/iPod and transfer it back to iTunes? I've tried to figure this out but have been unsucessful. If I try to sync it, it will remove everything off my iPhone because there is nothing in the iTunes library.

I think there's some programs that do that, but those cost money.
You can jailbreak it when it's out and ssh into it, but if you have a lot of music it'll take forever.
