Outlook calendar problem

I have outlook 2007 which I just installed and I am having trouble synching it with my phone. I have it set to sync my phone's calendar with outlook, but when I sync it, it erases everything on my phone and puts what was on my computer, on my phone. Am I missing a setting? Thanks for your help.

In iTunes, go to the Info Tab and scroll down to the Advanced section. Where it says "Replace information on this iPhone:" make sure to uncheck calendars.

I actually already had that unchecked, I am getting frustrated, but thanks for trying.
