Selling iPhone on Craigslist and shipping overseas

I put my iphone up on craigslist and got an email from a guy that wants to pay for the phone through Paypal and have me ship it overseas. I know there have been eBay hoaxes. Is this a safe thing to do?

Its a hoax. Craigslist is local so its just a bot that prowls and then sends fake money. You ship the phone and your money goes bye bye. If they don't pay cash then don't sell.

Scamming is a major issues with these sales sites. You have to set strict rules for your sales so these scammers will pick on the next guy instead of you.
