I found someone on CB that was willing to trade me a diff. BB for my Storm.. I'm in CA, he's in NY. Is there anything we can do so that we both don't get screwed over? Like some sort of thing at the post office where they don't ship off my phone to him until they receive his phone, and vice versa. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I forget the name of it, but I remember hearing about a service that allows you to sell phones. Not sure about swapping though. Maybe someone else can pitch in.

If they are a long time poster at CB, I doubt they'd screw you over. Make sure you see pics, so you don't get a beat up phone.

What BB are you moving to?

I know eBay used to offer escrow for large purchases which offered that protection...not sure about CL. Why don't you guys both agree to pay with PayPal, so you have the buyer's protection? I know you're trading, but agree to send each other an equal amount of money for the phone, then swap phones, and if you're dissatisfied, take recourse through Paypal?

Hmm, I'd sell it too.. It's not out of the question. I'd then just buy it from AT&T no contract. I wanted to get the Curve 8900. They aren't a long time poster at CB so that's what triggers an alarm a tiny bit, and I've seen plenty of pics so far. It looked pretty good. I'll see if I can try to find which service you were talking about, sounds like not a bad idea. Thanks, Chris!

Buffy, that's not a bad idea at all. I'll have to see what he says about that idea. If he doesn't agree to it, hopefully I'll be able to find what Chris was talking about. Thanks, Buff!

The Bronx.

Btw, I'm not sure if it's still going to happen with him. Here's what he said:
