some dev needs to get in touch with the owners of this site, and develope an app that allows for for faster browsing of the forums on this site. i dont develop or nothing, but i would think that should be possible....

While the iPhone version of EIC works well I'd love to see an app!

I can't get it to work right. It loads the home page in mobile format, but as soon as I click "new posts" or just click on a post, it goes to the web version. It won't cache my login either.

On the EiC home page just above the forums it has these links,
iPhone versions available: Enhanced (http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/index.php?styleid=11) | Light (http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/index.php?styleid=15)

I would love to have an iCafe app, but I'd want it to offer something that's not available through the web version.

Free beer, maybe? I'd use that app...

Well let's get a real dev in here and do it. This could be the "official EIC app ideas thread"?!?!?!?!?
Whatelse could it offer? This site is one of the best iPhone source sites out there, and the onle one I belong to. But, I did like the free beer idea, but slightly out of reach (literally). So seriously like what?
EDIT: sorry, THE BEST

I have the same problem. What I have to do is log in on the mobile site and then go to the desktop ver. If I do that, I am good to go. It is an extra step, but I like the desktop better anyway.

i don't think it would be worth it. Web browsing is way too personal for an app like that to be useful for everyone.
