Apple cites examples of pre-recorded audio files that could be activated to notify 911 dispatchers that the caller is choking, automatic transmission of GPS coordinates, or automated requests to contact a friend or family member.

Yeah that is cool. Those are things that could really save a life. I have always thought that they needed to take advantage of having GPS in the phone in times of emergency and not able to speak or asthma attack and probably more settings could be set there would help in receiving faster help. The only reason they probably haven't released this yet is because they would need every emergency number you can call to be able to receive those messages.
