I have an iphone v1. I do not have the latest update (2.2?) downloaded. I don't have a backup of my music, contacts, or calendar. (No lecture please...I'm well aware how stupid that is!) Anyway, our old computer crashed (macbook) and we have a new PC. I have nothing in itunes now. I need to get my music on there and sync my calendar and contacts. I don't have Outlook. I was going to use google calendar/contacts, but it says to backup first. I was going to try MobileMe but it says I need the latest iphone update first. When I went to do that, it asks if I want to backup first, but I'm not sure how to answer that.
I do have a very old iPod with most of my music.
Thank you for any help! I am ready to pull my hair out! I am getting a 3GS and want to have all this ready to sync for next Friday.
