Post what you made for yourself one day. Just tell ppl what you made or give them the details so others can try for themselves. DO NOT QUOTE IMAGES. I made homemade fried chicken spring rolls. With dipping sauce. Here's how i make em.

What you need: Spring roll paper, white cabbage shredded, Bambo shoot, green onion, ginger, rice noodle, carrots, red peppers, white meat chicken cooked however you want before (ull have to mince this or shred it), sugar, Salt, sesame seeds, blackpepper, Oyster sauce, and Soy sauce, 1 beaten egg and vegetable oil.

Dipping Sauce: Rice wine, Soy sauce, Sesame sauce, chili peppers, sugar, tiny bit 1tsp lemon. Mix and thats it. I like it simple, you can get really crazy with dipping sauces.

Pretty much, get a wok, or something to sautee the veg and chicken pour a little veg oil, mix in the chicken, rice noodles, cabbage, carrots, red peppers, ginger, green onion, sugar, oyster sauce, Soy sauce, salt and pepper and sesame seeds. Only need to soften the veg dont overcook.

Get the Spring roll paper, beat the egg and "paint" the edges of the paper. Take about a good sized spoonful of the veg/chicken place it at a corner of the paper. Roll the corner and encase the mix, fold in the sides "paint" the rest with egg and roll it up.

Deep fry in the veg oil until gold then take them out and place them on a paper towel. Takes like 2min.

Beerchicken? Is that seriously a cooked item or a joke?

Pizza is always good no matter how rich or broke. Potato chips originally were for French Royalty. I think the story is somthing like the king told the chef the "french fries" were to fat, so the chef cut them smaller and sent it out. They came back with the king saying they're still to fat, and out of spite the chef cut them so thin you could see thru them. The king loved them lol.

I cooked my favorite Indian cuisine!

That's "Potato & Tomato Dry" garnished with Coriander leaves.

Its simple:

Take 2 mid-sized potatoes and boil them for 15 minutes.

Slice 2 fresh tomatoes and 2 onions

Then chop some coriander leave about 50 mg

After the potatoes are boiled, fry them in mustard oil to which tomatoes and onions should be put into.

Then add salt, and spices according to your taste.

Cook for some 15 minutes and garnish with coriander!

Tryyyyy it!

Orange Chicken (i guess you'd call it breaded and fried) with Noodles carrots, broccoli, peas, baby corn. The chicken (white meat) is done with a spicy but tangy sauce... i went a little light with the sauce since i dont like over drenched food (makes the batter get mushy).

It's mainly rice or pasta, chicken or meat with potato, and many other things. No, it's just better for you more than white rice. Brown rice contains whole grains and a lot of nutrients that's vital to your health Here's a short run down on what brown rice contains and why it's better:

Manganese-Energy Production Plus Antioxidant Protection
Women Who Eat Whole Grains Weigh Less
Brown Rice is Rich in Fiber and Selenium
Lower Cholesterol with Whole Brown Rice
Significant Cardiovascular Benefits for Postmenopausal Women
Phytonutrients with Health-Promoting Activity Equal to or Even Higher than that of Vegetables and Fruits
Lignans Protect against Heart Disease
Reduce Your Risk of Metabolic Syndrome
Brown Rice and Other Whole Grains Substantially Lower Type 2 Diabetes Risk
A Good Source of Fiber
Fiber from Whole Grains and Fruit Protective against Breast Cancer

Put it through an egg wash and then instant potato flakes with a lot of seasonings added, then baked. I turned the broiler on for the last couple of minutes to brown it up a little more on the top.

Actually, the potato flakes make an awesomely crispy crust if you're pan-frying fish or chicken, but they definitely need seasoning. :dft009:happy

Steamed Shrimp Dumplings made by hand... i was in the mood for a mid day dimsum.
Very easy to make, i'd say its just time consuming with preparation taking around 30-40 min if you dont know how to quickly make the dumplings and gather all the things needed to fill them. Line the steamer with any type of lettuce. Cook time takes 10min steaming on a high fire with boiling water underneath. The sauce is just a basic soy, red rice vinegar, hot chili oil, ginger and garlic, whisk to mix serve at room temp. Enjoy.

I doubt it... theres sooo many people who post cooking videos on youtube. I just do it because i dont eat the same food twice. Unless the meal was big. I like to experiment and try new things and new foods (unless im cooking a traditional dish like the dumplings). Like ill cook a different cultures food to my best ability and i like sharing with you guys what i cooked.

OOOOHHH DAVE.

How did you make that?! What do you stuff the chicken with? etc etc.

On another note. So My friends saw the pictures of my Dumplings on my iPhone and want me to make them for an early thanksgiving dinner before i leave. Im gona be making a crap load for about 6-8 people. Wish me luck... because i have to figure out how to keep them from getting cold or rubbery while i make as many batches as will fit inside my steamer lol.

Ontop of that, they want another asian dish. One of my friends is making Peanut Sauce Stirfried Chicken. I think ill make Singapore Mei Fun to go with it.

I butterflied some chicken breasts, pounded out flat, seasoned with a rub, and sprinkled some crisped bacon over top. Added mozz cheese, rolled it up. Pan seared in the rendered bacon fat, drained the fat then into the oven for about 45 minutes. Topped with more cheese to serve.

Jen said I can make it again, so it was successful. :ok:ok

I thank you, I kinda cheated, the salmon came from Trader Joe's, but I improved the asparagus by sauteing it in olive oil, lemon pepper, garlic and salt. It's "posh" food for the person who had way to much to do today with no energy left to really cook, but hey, the girlfriend loved it so I'm ok with taking the easy way out this time :ok:ok

Does she not like the "raw" factor? or she's not a big seafood (mainly fish) person?

Mmmm, the closest way to get her into sushi is maybe having her try different types of fish.

Try cooking Salmon, Grouper fillet, Tilapia, Cod. Most of the time people will eat the same fish used for Sushi when its cooked. Get them used to the flavour. You can also mix it up with cooked fish broken into chunks over a nice salad. Served Cold. Maybe mix in some cooked, and some raw bits of fish.

Tonight I broiled two small filet Mignon cuts ( about 6 ounces total) topped with a slice of havarti cheese, thinly sliced portabella mushroom cap and tomato browned and mixed in a butter-wine-cheese sauce, with cheese broccoli on the side, with a glass of Remole Frescobaldi red wine.

Hey, I live by myself and I was sick of ramen and hungry man dinners.
