Space Ace

It's interesting that "Space Ace" (http://appshopper.com/games/space-ace)comes out before "Dragon's Lair" on the iPhone. And it's a pretty reasonable price at $4.99.

I think I'm going to get it for nostalgic reasons. I was actually better on "Space Ace" than "Dragon's Lair."

Ha! I saw that too. I played Dragon's Lair more than Space Ace back in the days. It's amazing that an Arcade that required a Laser Disk is now on an iPhone. I love technology.

So far I like the game. In fact, I die at the same places I did before. :laugh2: Maybe I should try the unlimited lives.

I'm not a big fan of onscreen buttons, but here they work.

Its very nostalgic. Amazing that what was cutting edge technology in the early 80's on a laserdisk machine (I think it was expensive as an arcade game machine back in those days) now plays on an iPhone. I was expecting the graphics to be pretty bad but this looks like the arcade game to my eyes.

Its been 25yrs since I played it so I only remember parts. Not disappointed paying for it. Although I think I'm destined to always be a space cadet on the iPhone version.

I never played Space Ace, but beat Dragon's Lair. I'm guessing that about 25+ years later I can't do it again!

I'd love to get it and find out, though...

cool, I was worried the controls wouldn't work that well. Now I wish that I didn't get "Amateur Surgeon", though still a surprisingly fun game.
