Used to be 39.99 a month and now its 33.99 a month.
Don't know why but I don't care. I'm happy.

No change on FamilyTalk plans from what I can see. I have the minimal 500-minute FamilyTalk and it's still $45.

My amounts dropped as well. I went through the online check out line quickly, but I swear it said $30 and $30 for minutes and data. It used to be $40 and $30.

This is a good sign of them trying to give us somewhat cheaper plans.

That's odd. Mine still says $39.99 for AT&T Nation 450 minutes
and $30 for Data. I'm new and just purchased my 3GS iPhone yesterday. Maybe it will be adjusted later after my account is set up?
AT&T website still has the 450 minute plan at $39.99

No, I don't have any discount or qualify for one.

Try EVERY email address you currently have in the link below and see if they come up with a discount because a lot of people think they can't but can. Even if you go to at&t or call them and just ask if there are any discounts they give for just being a member somewhere like costco, sams club, or AAA, etc.

Oh I understand now. Styfle is getting a discount from business, employer, etc. I wouldn't qualify for that. I already checked my emails. Thanks anyway.

Check a family member, friend, friendly neighbor  All you would need is them to show proof they work their and they could probably get you the discount through that company. Or just pretend you work for some company near you and if they ask for proof just say you don't have any and you don't have an email through that business. Just say you will come back another day with your ID. It's worth a try to save you anywhere up to 28% and some even offer discounts on accessories.

Dude are you meaning to say the FAN discount I've had on my account for a year finally kicked in? When I put it on and nothing happened, they said it was because the V1 iPhone couldnt get a FAN discount. WTF.

If I remember correctly, that was the case. FAN discounts kicked in with the 3G.

True, it says the fan discounts can take up to 2 biling cycles to get on your account, but you can call and someone will credit yo uthe difference from the next billing cycle on. If you really had an iphone 3g for a while with no discounts, I'd be calling att and getting myself my credits back for the months that they didnt give them to you.

Dave is correct. FAN discounts did not apply to V1 iPhone accounts, except for Apple employees.
