It seems to work for everyone. There have been people who weren't registered who put it on and they didn't have any problems.

If in the name it says anything about the iphone, iphone 3g, or ipod touch 1st gen then do not install it. You have to make sure you get one for your device. This is supposedly the final release unless apple has any big problems or changes they need to make by next week.

so since it says iphone in it, its a no-go for my touch?
