Searching fliq-Notes

I have, after numerous tribulations, succeeded in transferring my hundreds of notes from my Palm T/X to my iPod touch, using Missing Sync for iPhone. Now I have a relatively minor, but nevertheless annoying problem, using Fliq Notes to look at these notes. I can find a particular category in my notes, using the search function, but then I cannot seem to make the search window and keyboard go away, so I only see about four lines of the note headings at a time.
Is this normal for Fliq Notes, or is there something obvious I have missed. I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
